Kindred Blót (a kyrielle)

We come gathered with our kin,
Welcoming Ancestors in,
Using sacred mead, or ale,
With horns held high, the Gods we hail!

Aesir, Vanir, Disir, wight
Are among those we invite–
Are among those we entail–
With horns held high– the Gods we hail!

Hail our folk, and hail to those
From whose family lines we rose!
Hail our faith– may it prevail!
With horns held high, the Gods we hail!

North and South and East and West
May our blessings manifest–
May our kindreds never fail–
With horns held high, the Gods we hail!

Poem by Juleigh Howard-Hobson
